A.C. Milan, located in Milan, Italy, plays at the San Siro Stadium. Formerly known as Milan Cricket and Football Club, founded on December 16, 1899 by Alfred Edwards. After a century of ups and downs, AC Milan developed into one of the greatest teams in the world.
In order to distinguish itself from another football club in Milan, Inter Milan, the club is generally referred to as AC Milan or simply Milan. The traditional team uniform of AC Milan is a red and black striped shirt, so it is often referred to as "Rossonari" (Italian, meaning "Red and Black Army"). In August 2022, Redbird Capital completed the acquisition of AC Milan for 1.2 billion euros. On May 23, 2022, AC Milan won the 2021-2022 Serie A championship.
