Sevilla FC is a football club located in Seville, the capital of the Andalusian Autonomous Community in Spain. Founded on October 14, 1905, it is the earliest football club established in the city of Seville and the second oldest team in the entire Andalusian region. The team's home ground is the Ramon Sanchez Pisjuan Stadium and they are currently participating in the Spanish La Liga.
Sevilla Football Club is a traditional powerhouse in La Liga; Before the start of the national football tournament in Spain, Sevilla had won 17 Andalusian championships and won the Sevilla City championship twice. In the early days of the establishment of La Liga, the club was at its peak. Although it only won one championship in 1946, it mostly ranked at the top of the league table and won four La Liga runner up titles.
As of June 1, 2023, Sevilla has won 1 La Liga championship, 5 Copa del Rey championships, 1 Spanish Super Cup championship, 7 UEFA Europa League championships, and 1 UEFA Super Cup championship in their history.
In January 2025, in the Spanish King's Cup, Sevilla suffered a shocking 1-4 defeat to Almeria, stopping in the third round.
