Monterrey Football Club is a professional football club based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. It competes in the Mexican Primera Division and its home ground is BBVA Stadium.

On June 28, 1945, the Monterey Club was officially established. In September of that year, the team suffered a serious car accident during an away game, resulting in multiple players being injured or killed. Although the team persisted in completing the season's matches, they still suspended activities after the season ended due to a lack of funds. In 1952, the Monterrey Club resumed its activities. In the 1960s, Monterrey Club won the third place in the Mexican Primera Division twice. In the 1985-86 season, Monterrey Club won the Mexican Primera Division championship for the first time in its 41-year history. In 1993, Monterrey Club won the CONCACAF Champions Cup, claiming its first continental tournament title in club history. In 2003, Monterrey Club won the league championship again after a 17-year hiatus. From 2011 to 2013, Monterrey Club achieved a hat-trick of CONCACAF Champions League titles. In 2019, Monterrey Club won the domestic league championship for the fifth time and the CONCACAF Champions Cup for the fourth time. In the 2021 CONCACAF Champions League final, Monterrey Club defeated Club America and claimed the title for the fifth time.

In June 2025, in the first round of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup group stage, Monterrey Football Club drew with Inter Milan Football Club.
