Fulham F.C. is a football club located in London, England, founded in 1879. It plays at Craven Farm Stadium and competes in the English Premier League.
In the 1960s, the team spent most of their time in the old League One (predecessor of the English Premier League) but did not win any important titles. In 1975, they finally reached the FA Cup final, but unfortunately finished as runners up. In the 1990s, Egyptian tycoon Fayed took over the club, and Fulham was promoted to the Premier League in 2001 after receiving significant financial support. Since then, there have been several relegation crises, but each time they have successfully avoided relegation. The club once again had a shining moment in the 2009-10 season, winning the runner up in the UEFA Europa League. In July 2013, Fayed, who had been in charge of Fulham for 16 years, sold his shares to Shahid Khan, a Pakistani American. In the 2013-14 season, Fulham's performance in the English Premier League was poor and they fell into a relegation crisis. Although the team hired Magath as a new coach, they ultimately failed to avoid relegation, ending their 13 year consecutive Premier League career. On May 27, 2018, the English Championship promotion playoffs were held at New Wembley Stadium. Fulham defeated Aston Villa 1-0 with a goal from Kearney in the first half, returning to the Premier League after four years. On August 5, 2020, Fulham successfully returned to the Premier League after a year by defeating Brentford 2-1 in the final of the English Championship promotion playoffs. On May 11, 2021, Fulham was relegated to the English Championship. In April 2022, Fulham confirmed their return to the Premier League four rounds ahead of schedule.
On January 25, 2024, in the second leg of the English League Cup semi-finals, Fulham drew 1-1 with Liverpool and were eliminated with a total score of 2-3.
