Crystal Palace F.C. is a football club located in the south of London, England. It currently participates in the English Premier League and was founded in 1905. Its home stadium is Selhurst Park.  
In the early years, Crystal Palace only competed in low-level leagues, and it was not until 1969 that it was first promoted to the top tier league, League One.
