The Bundesliga, also known as the German Bundesliga, is the highest level of football league in Germany. It was founded by the German Football Association on July 28, 1962, in Borussia Dortmund and began in the 1963-64 season. As one of the top five European leagues, it is one of the football leagues with the highest average attendance rate in the world.
